Alternate Picking Overvi...Many guitar players want to be able to alternate pick fast and cleanly and with absolute precision. Many DVDs, Videos and Text books have been published on the subject. Yet the skill still remains as elusive as ever. WELL Hopefully NOT ANYMORE! Why is alternate Picking a mystery? Many teachers and tutorial tools really expect the student to have a grasp of the basics. But this is the underlying problem because Alternate Picking functions around the understanding that the basics have been mastered to a high and natural standard. It is like learning to drive.
